Our story
Everyone loses something.
Keys down the side of the couch. The wallet that didn’t quite make it home after a big night out. A bag forgotten on the back seat.
FYNDR is a small, honest piece of hardware that answers one question, fast: where is it? Slip a FYNDR Card into a wallet or clip a FYNDR Tag onto a keyring, a bag, a laptop sleeve, and the moment something goes missing, stop searching and start finding.
Built for South Africa
Practical, not alarmist.
South Africans don’t need another reason to feel anxious about what could go wrong. Between load-shedding, traffic and a busy household, there’s already enough to keep track of.
FYNDR isn’t about fear. It’s about having one less thing to worry about, and a real chance of getting something back when a bag is snatched, a car is broken into, or a phone simply walks off a table.
Calm, not paranoid. We’re serious about the job and never precious about the tone.
How it works
No new app to talk anyone into
Both FYNDR products run on the finding networks already built into billions of phones: Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, side by side. Whatever phone is in your pocket, and whatever phone is in your partner’s, it works.
If someone else’s iPhone or Android walks past your lost keys, FYNDR quietly says so. That’s the whole trick, and it’s why the network matters more than the hardware.

How we make them
Manufacturing & sourcing
FYNDR partners with an established consumer-electronics manufacturer to build our trackers. Early units from our first validation batch may carry the manufacturer’s own device markings rather than a FYNDR-branded finish. The product, firmware, warranty, and support are all FYNDR’s. Custom FYNDR-branded units are in production for future batches.
We’d rather tell you that up front than have you find it on the back of the device. Read the full clause in our Terms & Conditions.
